On June 3 rd 2005, in Singapore, during a diving exhibition “ Celebrate The Sea 2205 “ we officially launched a program called “ Adopt The Coral “. And from the information that we had, this program is the only one in the world.

Through this program, someone can evidently adopt a coral. The adopter would have to pay Rp. 250,000/ USD 30. Annual maintenance fee of Rp 150,000 / USD 15 may apply for adoption fund and fill an adoption form. There’s a running number on the form.

The adoption fund will be used in behalf of paying all costs that related to the process of adoption, including the coral stek. The coral stek will be done completely by Mina Bhakti Soansari fishermen group in Les Village.

After that, a coral will be stek and put on a substrate and the adopter’s name will be attached on the substrate. Attached with the adopter’s name and planted with coral, the substrate will be photographed and sent to the adopter.

Until nowadays, around 250 people have become adopters which adopter no 0001 is Megawati Soekarnoputri, former Indonesian President.
